Hello everyone! Hard to believe that the little man celebrated his 2 month milestone yesterday! It came complete with a smile.....eventually. This is how he decided to start off his day....
....but this is how he ended it.
I guess he realized that turning 2 months old really wasn't such hard work after all. And much to his father's dismay, Caleb slept through his first date and his first kiss! That's right folks, 2 months and he already has his first girlfriend (and an older lady at that). Our friends, Becca and Justice, have a sweet baby girl that is 7 months old. They came over for a visit yesterday and Caleb slept right through it! And when this kid sleeps, there is no waking him - I know, parents everywhere are tres jealous. Lil' Justice (named after her daddy) just loved Mr. Caleb and couldn't get enough of him! So much so that she crawled over to him, and gave him the sweetest little kiss on the nose. Becca and I instantly melted and Caleb didn't notice a thing. Oh well, there is always next time, and plenty of kissing hand holding down the road.
We hope you are all doing well! We are gearing up for 2 weeks of company starting today and are looking forward to all the visitors! Pictures to come from those visits for sure, but in the meantime, here are some to hold you all over. Enjoy looking at "chubba". At his 8 week appointment last week he was 23 inches long (75th percentile) and 12lbs 6 oz (80th percentile)....and he is starting to get the rolls to prove it. Way to go little man!
